The Mourner.She sits alone,
beside the grave..
but inside she's brave.
her hands are cold,
and holding flowers.
at midnight she'll come,
and sit for hours.
Her heart is dark
and frozen in pain..
Tears stream down her face like rain.
She places the lillies
down on the ground
picks herself up,
then looks around..
She walks towards the graveyard gates,
Opens the exit, but thinks and waits.
She walks around the barbed fence corner,
and takes one glance back..
as a mourner.
Saturday."Falling apart seems so easy,
when it's all you've ever felt"
And that's the thought she always kept,
In her mind that made her heart melt..
He came along on a Saturday..
He Crashed into her heart like Thunder.
So Instantly she felt the feeling,
and it completely dragged her under.
It made her scared, but she couldn't resist,
The way her mind raced,
the thought of his kiss..
His Teardrops cold,
and love twice abused,
He looked at her with bloodshot eyes,
and got a feeling he couldn't refuse.
She looked back at him and smiled..
And his breath disappeared..
He got an adrenaline rush
His heart pounded fast..
with one thought of her touch..
That was the first time she smiled,
In a long time,
cuz she knew he was going through pain,
just like she was, her heart frozen and cold,
her mind corrupted in vain.
She's only loved herself,
cuz that's all she could do,
When her love was taken, from someone
with no heart..
He walked over to the booth,
she was sitting there, just a life form,
